They are back, and probably this one will be the best song from their new album "Mylo Xyloto" ...Great song and interesting video.



-VANESSA DA MATA ft. BEN HARPER " Boa Sorte/Good luck"
If you like brazilian classy music and you like Ben Harper, you will dig this one for sure, also on my repeat mp3, soft, good melody, great voices... we all need good luck!



-FRANK OCEAN "We all try"
Ok i have to confess im starting to be obsessed with Frank Ocean, i am listening to his album "Nostalgia,ultra" on and on, each song is worth it, but this could be my favourite one. But check all the other songs, you won't regreat it, amazing r&b,hip hop...




-THE WEEKND " The Knowing"
The Weeknd, is also one of my new discoveries, props to Flavio again, i love the atmosphera that the band creates on each song, plus also the video is worth seeing, you going to enjoy this one.




-THE XX "Crystalised"
I heard that they will be playing in Barcelona soon with Jamie Woon, thinking about maybe going to see them alive. Interesting band, nice tunes, great voice...perfect soundtrack for when im working.




-ACROSS FIVE APRILS "A year from now"

NEW UPDATES...BJJ & MY BIRTHDAY

Hey there, it's been a while since i posted here, i know...im taking my time, hehe...So im back with few updates for y'all.

As you may know last November 5th it was my birthday, and how did i celebrate it??party?not yet...went to Madrid for a bjj competition, my first one as a purple belt, and i am very happy to say that i won my weightclass (superheavy, one less than the last time and keep going down!). I fought against a good friend of mine from North of Spain, big and super strong guy...we had fought several times in the past, and he always beat me, but this time i did a more strategic fight...and i got the victory by points.

It was lot of fun to hang out there with my team mates and other friends from other teams from around Spain...big shout out to people like Quiñones, Alfredo, Echedey, Herminio and lots more.. that was a good bday present.

So im posting my fight and few cool pics from the tournament, called Copa Buddha Sport.

EUROPEAN BJJ CHAMPIONSHIP IN LISBON

-The bronze medal, so proud and happy-

Last month i went to Lisbon for their anual European Bjj Championship, probably the most important tornament in Europe with the biggest names and the higher level on the mats. I have to say it was an amazing experience, thank to my team mates, friends and specially to Yan Cabral, my master.

We went there and did a great perfomance, gold medals for our girls in the team and im super happy to share with you guys that i got my first Bronze Medal, i made 3rd in an important tournament such is this one. I made it 3rd on my Blue belt weightclass in the Master division.

I did 5 fights in total, felt great on the mat, calm and alive, choked some dudes out and lost by points to a friend. So its a new big step for me and my brazilian jiu jitsu "career"... some pics from Lisbon.

SKUNK ANANSIE

Last week i had the pleasure to go to the Skunk Anansie`s show, here in Barcelona. It was a birthday present from a good friend who bought the tickets long time ago. Oh man!! the show was amazing, Skin's voice is unreal, and intense non stop show that made all the crowd crazy and you could feel the amazing vibe.

If you don't know the band i suggest you to check them out right now...it's not a new band, i liked them back in the 90's but i even like them more now. Their new album is beyond solid, every single song is worth it.

I haven't been to any hc shows for long time...i still listen to my good old tunes, but most of the new bands are boring and shows here suck big time. But i guess there is this band still going on that is trying to bring some of the old good spirit back that brings good memories and makes me shake from my chair...

Hey there all!! Happy new year to everyone!! it's been some time again since my last post but i feel like blogging again so expect some more weekly updates, same old shit, architecture, music, bjj and random stuff from me or that i like and im interested in, i hope you will enjoy it.

The new year has been good so far, the good and most important news is that i have a new job at a new architecture studio, focused on works in Shangai, so it's a new personal challenge and a new motiviation.
