sorry for the lack of posts but my internet aint working, which sucks, but ill be back as soon as possible.
Anyways, ill try to update this week from my office!!yeah i do work!

ARCHITECTURE OF THE WEEK: ZARAGOZA EXPO'2008

I havent been there yet but im looking forward to go sometime around August to check out all the architecture showcase,or also called, Expo'08, in a beautiful spanish city, Zaragoza.

WEEKEND FIGHTS!!

This was a very special weekend for MMA fans, we had some UFC fights, E-DREAMS fights and last but not least what we all were waiting for..the AFFLICTION "Banned" fights, with probably the best heavyweight mma fighters card ever!

THE TORN LIGHTING CONCEPT by Billy May

Billy May did an awesome job with this new lighting concept.
Taking LEDs he installs them undernearth scuptural assets fixed to the wall board and designed to look as though the wall board is peeling, waving or similary unexpected feats.




An interesting idea of this concept is that you can use the corners as "seams". It gives the effect that the walls are made of fabric, making the space feel much lighter and open even thought not a single inch has been added to the space.

POMPIDOU CENTER x AIR MAX = Tinker Hatfield

Tinker Hatfield is an architect who started working at Nike designing showrooms, and ended up being VP of design. He was behind the design of the now classic Air Max shoes. On this short interview he tells how the Pompidou Centre by Renzo Piano influencied his shoe design, in terms of exposed systems and color.

For me, beiong almost and architect and loving sneakers, specially the air max model, makes me think how cool it is to combine both worlds...so how good would be to be a good architect and also desing "the model" for a brand like nike, huh??
Well Tinker Hatfield did it, the rest is history...hehe, let's say he become a good inspiration for me.

BJJ TECHINQUE OF THE WEEK X: Double arm bar attack

A really good technique that you can aply to BJJ or grappling...done right can be very effective and a very successful submission. The double arm bar attack from cross sight its a very common position and looks pretty simple to do and gives your a better game.The main goal in submission is always to get the tap out from any position but having a double attack in one, or at least as many options that any situation has. Thats the greatness in this art...
Gonna train that one tomorrow!

Yeah i got some new sneakers from Trustnobody last weekend and i couldnt be more excited about those beauties. Its obviously the nike air max 90 model, probably the best model ever made in my sincere opinion.
Anyways,i got the new Air Max 90 Current, the new hybrid version from the most popular infrared model, i can only think about AWESOMENESS!!very confy and you can get better than that!





The other new babies are this other Air Max 90 leather (rustic/navy/sandrift), a new classic!cant wait to wear those too.
Less money to worry about and a bit happier from now on!hehe

MUNICH-PRAGUE TRIP REPORT: DAY 3

This was our official day in Prague even though the night before the boy's team went to a club for only 2.50 € and "unfortunately" ended up as a peep show....too bad no pics from that!hehe.. that was a funny night but we had to wake up early for our cultura see sight visit!
